Habitat For Humanity Tradeshow Display

This self-initiated project explored how thoughtful design can transform a nonprofit’s trade show presence into a purposeful engagement tool. I created a full print package for Habitat for Humanity that included a backdrop, table banner, brochures, postcards, stickers, flyers, and business cards. Each element worked together to give visitors clear, actionable next steps — whether to volunteer, apply, or donate — through scannable QR codes and incentive-based engagement.

Context:

  • Habitat for Humanity’s mission centers on building homes and strengthening communities.

  • This case study translated that mission into an engaging trade show presence designed to inspire action.

  • The project was framed not just as a branding exercise but as a strategic design solution to encourage real-time participation.

  • By combining approachable visuals with clear calls-to-action, the display aimed to bridge the gap between awareness and involvement.

My Role and Responsibilities

  • Concept development, research, and overall project strategy to shape the goals of the package.

  • Graphic design for all print elements, including large-format signage, brochures, flyers, stickers, and business cards.

  • Establishing a cohesive visual system that aligned with Habitat’s identity while adding a fresh, modern presentation.

  • Designing with purpose by structuring clear calls-to-action through QR codes, incentive-based engagement, and consistent messaging.

Process:

  • Outlined how each piece of collateral could guide visitors toward a specific action.

  • Designed flyers and stickers as the central tools for immediate engagement.

  • Incorporated QR codes that connected attendees directly to landing pages with no extra steps.

  • Created supporting materials — brochures, business cards, and banners — to provide additional context while maintaining cohesion.

  • Focused on clarity and usability, ensuring the design felt inviting while making the next steps easy and intuitive.

Outcome

  • Showcased how a nonprofit can shift from a passive trade show setup to an interactive, action-oriented experience.

  • Created clear pathways for engagement by simplifying the process of volunteering, applying, or donating.

  • Demonstrated my ability to design a cohesive, purpose-driven print package that balances visual impact with measurable results.
